mud and mud-puddle substance

For "Robinson - The Journey" we started to build a Substance library that was used throughout the project by all artists.

I created these two mud substances. The first is a regular mud substance that was mainly used in painter for texturing assets.
Derived from the regular mud, I created a puddle substance were you could switch between different puddle shapes, dino footprints or input a custom shape. These puddles were mainly used as decals throughout the game. With the right settings the substance works nicely for tilable textures as well.
Both substances are fully procedural.
